October 2021

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has completed the acquisition of BCS Consulting, a U.K.-based management consultancy specialising in delivering complex transformation programmes for financial services organisations. Headquartered in London, BCS Consulting’s team of approximately 250 professionals will join Accenture’s U.K. Financial Services Strategy and Consulting practice. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Established in 2001, BCS Consulting advises many of the U.K.’s leading financial institutions on large-scale change initiatives spanning technology, finance, operations, risk and regulatory transformation. The firm brings deep sector expertise across areas such as payments, open banking, operational resilience, financial crime and cost optimisation. Its capabilities will complement and strengthen Accenture’s existing consulting and technology offering to financial services clients.

The acquisition further builds on Accenture’s recent investments in the financial services sector, including the acquisitions of Mudano, Orbium and Parker Fitzgerald. Together, these additions enhance Accenture’s ability to support clients with end-to-end transformation programmes and deliver sustainable value while addressing evolving market and regulatory challenges.
